As an Electronics Technician 1, you will play a crucial role in the repair and reconditioning of electronic hardware used by the Federal Aviation Administration. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing and troubleshooting electronic systems, conducting repairs, and ensuring that all equipment passes prescribed procedures for safety and reliability.Primary ResponsibilitiesDiagnosis and Troubleshooting: Identify and analyze electronic hardware issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.Repair and Reconditioning: Perform repairs and reconditioning of FAA electronic hardware to ensure optimal functionality and reliability.Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing of repaired equipment to ensure it meets FAA and Leidos standards and specifications.Documentation: Maintain detailed records of repairs, including troubleshooting steps, parts used, and testing results.Collaboration: Work closely with a diverse team of technicians to address complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.Compliance: Adhere to all Leidos regulations and guidelines throughout the repair and reconditioning process.Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of best practices within the electronics repair department.Basic QualificationsWhile subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.
Pay Range:Pay Range $31,850.00 - $57,575.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
