Sentara is hiring a MRI Technologist in Williamsburg, VA

This is a Full-Time 2nd shift Opportunity with GREAT BENEFIT!!!

Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center, a Certified Primary Stroke Center, has 145 licensed beds and features the latest healthcare technologies, serving the region with the life-saving capabilities of an ultra-modern medical center.

As a MRI Technologist, you will perform MRI examinations while maintaining the safety and the integrity of MRI operational area for all persons including staff and customers. Maintain adequate supply inventory for performing examinations. Explain examination and procedure to patients, and complete departmental documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of MRI school/MRI certificate program OR Graduate of a 24-month program in radiologic technology in lieu of experience.
  • CNMT or ARDMS or ARRT or ARMRIT is required. Must obtain ARRT MR advanced registry or ARMRIT within two years of hire (to include mergers and acquisitions)
  • BLS

1-year experience in a Rad Tech position including Radiologic Tech, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, or Ultrasound preferred.

Six months of MR experience or completion of MR didactic program preferred.

Job Summary
