Allan Myers is looking for a professional entry-level Surveyor to assist and support in the planning and coordination of the surveying needs on heavy civil construction projects. This position must be comfortable in a construction site/heavy civil setting.

Responsibilities:

Learns the details of the plans and specifications of the project assigned. Coordinate with the project team supervisor to prioritize tasks.
• Coordinate with operations on the project needs for equipment and labor.
• Actively seeking out opportunities to increase the Allan Myers survey function with value-adding activities, new technologies or ideas.
• Participates as required with the in-house pre-construction planning and development of the project schedule.
• Performs other job-related duties as required or assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in: Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Surveying, Business Management, or another engineering related degree.
• 0-1 years of experience in surveying, specifically on a heavy civil construction project desired.
• Must be a collaborative team player.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to change.
