Chugach is seeking an Engineer/Scientist V (Cloud Engineer) to support the US Coast Guard IT Services team and provide day-to-day IT program support to NIWC. to support the project. This position will work out of the Washington, DC area. Occasional travel may be required.

• Mentor less experienced technical staff.
• Serve as senior technical resource in development team's efforts to deploy and utilize Power platform.
• Work closely with developers and engineers to recommend and oversee the design of database or data storage solutions that effectively reflect our business needs, security, and service level requirements.
• Responsible driving discussions with senior personnel regarding trade-offs, best practices, project management and risk mitigation
• Integration of cloud services with on premise technologies from Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, HP, SAP etc.
• Serve as senior technical resource in development team's efforts to deploy and utilize Power platform.
• Be familiar with IT compliance and risk management requirements (eg. security, privacy, SOX, HIPAA etc.)
• Responsible for M365 management and expansion of capabilities, implementation of DocuSign's cloud deployment.

• BA/BS or higher degree in Information Technology or related field with seven (7) years of experience or
  • Substitution of thirteen (13) years of experience within the industry may replace a degree.
• Active SECRET Security Clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship.
• Proven work experience in enterprise cloud architecture.
• Familiar with various IT system development and service methodologies.
• Highly experienced Cloud Engineer with experience in Azure and AWS cloud architecture and operations.
