Qualifications

VNE, LLC is looking for a TS/SCI Subject Matter Expert SIGINT

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

  • HS Diploma/GED
  • Technical training in Signals Intelligence (SIGINT)

Experience:

  • A minimum of eight (8) years of experience with the training and evaluation of procedures, instruction, curriculum management and development, and database management for SIGINT in any three (3) of the following four (4) areas: Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Test & Evaluation, and Training.
  • Experience may be achieved simultaneously.
  • Recognized expert who has demonstrated industry and/or military experience in SIGINT.
  • Experience applying knowledge of training development principles and analysis techniques such as training analysis, spreadsheet analysis, scheduling scenarios, etc.
  • Proficiency in word processing, electronic spreadsheet, data systems, analysis techniques, and workstation tools is desired.
  • Familiarity with the Marine Corps Training Information Management System (MCTIMS) and SharePoint.
  • TS/SCI level Clearance required.

Job Description:

The SME expected to:

  • Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) support for the training management and oversight of Department of the Navy/Marine Corps Intelligence training, specifically with respect to training and policy within Marine Corps Intelligence Schools' (MCIS) and performs a wide variety of training, research, and liaison functions.
  • Conduct analysis of potential future training requirements, resource acquisition, and programmatic training solutions in support of training requirements for the MCIS mission.
  • Develop, negotiate, and administer operational support recommendations and decisions that assist and potentially guide MCIS policies; prioritize requirements; allocate resources; provide strategic advice; and liaise with internal, external, and national-level agencies and organizations.
  • Plan, attend, conduct, and support meetings, formal reviews, conferences, and complete audits as required and provide minutes, reports, and summary of action items (including responsible parties, and estimated completion dates) following each review.
  • Assist with curricula management, review Programs of Instruction (POI) and Master Lesson Files (MLF), Systems Approach to Training (SAT) Manual, and provide validation and curriculum recommendations to the Commanding Officer and staff including the interpretation and assessment of other service school training solutions for USMC personnel.
  • Provide instructor management in accordance with the Inter-service Training Review Organization (ITRO) computation process and shall monitor and confirm instructors are in compliance with training / qualifications in accordance with the host command.

Essential Duties of the Job:

  • Ability to communicate task requirement information to client in a clear and concise manner.
  • Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as lead and participate in meetings and working groups.
  • Requires visual acuity to use a keyboard.
  • Must be able to attend work each day, during scheduled hours, unless on travel or approved time off.
  • Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face-to-face

  • While performing duties of job, employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
  • Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • May be exposed to chemicals related to office equipment.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate (i.e. general office environment).
