We are seeking mid to senior level Electronic Security technicians with a thorough understanding of electronic principles and the ability to implement that knowledge to design, install and maintain electronic security systems at high profile government, institutional and commercial customer sites. Candidates will work in a team oriented, fast paced environment with significant growth potential. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Required Skills
EXPERIENCE (IN YEARS)
* A minimum of four (4) years experience in non-residential electronics installation and troubleshooting is required. Experience installing and troubleshooting electronic security systems is preferred.
EDUCATION
* 1. Associates of Science in Electronics from an ABET accredited program is required; or graduation from US Navy or Air Force Electronics Training program with a minimum of 720 class room hours; or graduation from MC Dean’s Electronic Technician apprenticeship program.
CERTIFICATIONS
* 1. No certification required.
* 2. VADCJS (VA Dept of Criminal Justice Services) Electronic Security Technician or NBFAA (Maryland Burglar & Fire Alarm Association) Certified Alarm/Security Technician Level I preferred.
