ADS Corporation is seeking a self-starter to provide program support to our DoD client in a multi-disciplinary environment. Work with similarly motivated engineers, mathematicians, and scientists who are collectively responsible for creating solutions and systems in support of national security defense.
This position requires US Citizenship and an active Security Clearance (Secret) or the ability to obtain one.
Ideal candidate is a Chemical Engineer or Mechanical Engineer with a background in Physics to support Expeditionary Warfare Science and Technology programs. Knowledge and experience in Energetics and Propulsion, and/or Materials Engineering is desired.
The role of Chemical Engineer will provide technical and engineering support services to review, analyze, recommend and facilitate program science & technology development associated with future war fighting requirements. These areas are cutting-edge technologies and inherently can experience technical and programmatic problems in the development and eventual transition of the intellectual knowledge or capability.
Some of the specific tasks associated with the work are as follows:
• Program management support for the development of work statements, review of proposals, participation in technical interchange meetings and reviews, and resolution of technical controversies.
• Draft analyses, presentations, notes, assessments, and other materials on various technical topics and develop processes and procedures to meet program requirements, improve operability, and enable data dissemination.
• Attend preliminary and critical design reviews, status update reviews, financial status reviews and key demonstrations and testing.
• Participate in strategic analyses, special studies and road mapping activities for improving planning, processes and S&T program investments.
Engineers must be able to work hands-on without administrative or clerical support to produce work documents including Power Point presentations and other relevant materials.
